Vikings Season 4 Episode 1, on History Channel

So, who else was freakin' stoked as all that Vikings was back on TV last night?

Hallelujah!!!

As per usual, the episode was great. Right off the bat it started up with drama, which is sweet. I even yelled out "Oh shit!" at one point. Because it's about to get real up in Kattegat.

Rollo, my main man, surprised me..... and not in a nice way. I think I know where his story line is going, and I will not be pleased. But I am a huge fan, so I will continue watching (as I did after my favorite character was no longer on the show)

P.S. Two years ago, I googled and found out that these characters were real people, and then as I read reading.... lets just say I read a lot of spoilers (I am annoyed, but that is my own fault, lol) so I kinda know what's gonna go down.

Skol!

Are You Watching?

Lately I've been on a kick, watching a lot of TV (thanks to having access to a DVR, Amazon Instant and Netflix). I watch all types of shows -- I don't think I stick to the same genre.

Do you watch any of the shows I do? If so, lets chat about them.

Binged watched the whole series (thus far) this with Steven in about a week and a half.

Great show. Watched the first season.... Second one wasn't free yet. Boooooooooo!!!

But I realllllllllly like the show!

Started it.... didn't get in too far. Other shows were pressing lol

Amazing Sci-Fi-ish type show. The lead character deserves an award. Fo realz.

Drama in an upper class British society.... who isn't drawn to it?

Of course. New episodes are on BBC come the end of August. So stoked!

Not reallllllllllllllly caring for this season, but I want to see who she ends up with. I hope for Dylan or Marcus.

I am two episodes behind, so no spoilers.

Any show you recommend I see?

Man Crush Monday and a Marathon Withdrawl

First off, when I choose a TV show to watch on Netflix, I marathon that shit. WHO DOESN'T, am I right? If you don't, you're certifiably crazy!!!!

Now, I freakin binged through Supernatural on Netflix like two months ago. Like literally all eight seasons in two weeks. It's sooooooo addiciting and the boys are GORGEOUS!!!! So when the hell is Season 9 coming to Netflix? Anyone, anyone?

Game of Thrones Season 4 Starts on Sunday

Sunday night starts Season 4 of Game of Thrones. I'm so freakin' excited for it to start, you have no idea. Steven and I put the kids to bed early on Sunday's when GoT is on, go lay in bed and watch the series unfold. It's ALWAYS epic. Like EPIC awesomesauce greatness. Plot twists you never see coming (can we say Eddark Stark? Or even better, Red Wedding? Yes, yes I went there.)

Now.... if you missed the first three seasons, you can still catch up via the HBO Go app (but you must log in with your cable subscriber information), Amazon Instant Streaming (for a fee), or buy the DVD sets (which I've gotten from here, here and here).

Jacquen. One of my top favorite characters.

Game of Thrones Season 4 start on Sunday, April 6, 2014 at 9pm on HBO.

Shark Week 2013

So who else is excited for Shark Week 2013? Even my kids are stoked to watch episodes with us, which sounds crazy, but even the little one keeps asking me when it starts up again, LOL! Somehow it's become a tradition to watch as many episodes as we can (because we're usually on vacation when it's on).

Do you watch any part of Shark Week??  You should!

Check it out, it's on Discovery Channel Sunday August 4th.

Doctor Who

Okay, cue in the Whovians..... where are you guys?

I just started Season 4 (thank you to a friend letting me borrow her Netflix thing) and I'm totally hooked. You don't have to say David Tennant to my twice. He's amazing. And delish looking!

Plus I have to drop a Harry Potter reference when possible

Yep, same guy.  Anyway!!!

Some mini-spoilers if you're not up to where I am in the show: I thought I wasn't going to miss Rose.... she kinda annoyed me a tad in the beginning. Now after seeing two more companions, I SERIOUSLY miss Rose so much it's not even funny. Martha just didn't do it for me. The doctor shows up and just takes her along after knowing her like 5 minutes. Pa-lease. And this "Runaway Bride" woman (Donna) drives me up a wall. Yea I got a little emotional when she got emotional when she heard the Ood Song, but still.......... go back home please... and take your annoying voice with you. Thankyouverymuch.

*side note: i am almost finished with season 4........ and donna grew on me. and i miss her!*

Any Whovians out there want to discuss?

Game of Thrones, Season 3

I've been counting down the days since I heard about it's return... and the day has finally arrived.

GAME OF THRONES Season 3 started up last night *Squeeeeeeeeeee!!!*

I could hardly contain myself I was so excited. I kicked my family out early enough after Easter dinner so that I could have the kids in bed sleeping and me cuddled up with the husband to watch our show.

The first episode did not dissappoint. Lots of recapping, to refresh everyone's memory... but some new stuff going on too, which was cool. I am already excited for next week's episode.......

Do you watch?

Note: I did not read the book series, so I have no spoiler alerts.
It's all brand new to me every week. And I like it that way!
